A few nights ago, in what at first glance appears to be an empty storefront, a symbiosis of sight and sound occurred. ”Let It Come Down” is a video-music performance collaboration between David Brieske, Marcus Cherlos, Edward Eden, Juan Maristany, Sinisa Kukec, Freddy Jouwayed and Stephan Tugrul. Photographing this event adds a different layer to the evening. This performance was truly experiental inviting viewers to truly be in the moment, in what was happening around us.
                        That’s right! That gorgeous Puerto Rican destination wedding is being featured over at Forget Me Knot Weddings. It always fun for me to see how and which photographs get featured and this feature does not disappoint! Check out Mayra and Efren’s wedding feature.  no comments Part II of Mayra + Efren’s wedding. This post continues with shots from their ceremony and from their formal portraits. Their ceremony took place on the beachfront in front of their venue. Afterwards, we took some time from the reception and did some formal portraits in front of the 400 year old Ceiba tree. Just when we thought it was over, we saw a little beach on the side of the road that turned out to be picture perfect!!

Travel, website update, awesome wedding – all things I enjoy! But I digress, you may remember Mayra and Efren’s awesome engagement session from a few months back. Well, their super amazing wedding took place in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Such an amazing island. So before I continue, I will let the photographs speak for themselves. Here is the early part of the day, leading up the ceremony. no comments I recently had the pleasure and the pressure of photographing the wedding of very dear friends. This wedding took me to the beautiful island of Vieques, off the coast of Puerto Rico’s main island. Since I just returned from this incredible “work-cation” I am still editing away. However, I have received the prints from the plastic camera I took along when we shot Mayra and Efren’s wedding portraits at the 400 year old Ceiba tree. Experimental, fun and very retro! I love the graininess of the film and how it adds to the vintage vibe of the session.        no comments |
